Maybe start off slow with just a WML rig and keep your existing mag carrier separate?

Daniels do an AIWB holster with the wing thingie and a wedge. It looks odd but it's very comfy to use.

Should I go sidecar or just regular AIWB WML holster and carry my extra mag-pouch separately?
Sidecars are a waste of time.

    Why do you say that?
    Are they to big?

Too big and bulky and you have a giant slab of immovable kydex across your gut.

Which aiwb holster do you recommend?
Is it better to carry a separate mag carrier?

Of the local guys Daniels would be my frst choice, get his specific AIWB rig, then yeah you can get a separate mag pouch for your spare.
