Hi guys , this is a great topic as I am awaiting for my compitencey then application for glock 19. And I was looking at making a side table with a foldable door on a spring and magnets. Where I can just push my hand through and pull the gun out. As we also have a 2year old boy to keep him away at night and on me during the day.

Just to update, I have floating shelves on both sides of the bed about 1,9meters from the floor, they cost R120 each at mr price home and they dont look too bad either
