Good Day I Am New
Good Day I am new to this forum. I currently do not own a firearm but i am looking at getting one soon. I work on a Small farm, so my uses for a firearm are for SD and Varmit control

Re: Good Day I Am New
Look at the end of the day the best gun is the one you actually like and want to have, sure there will be a lot of right answers, no need getting a 338 if you only want to shoot at 150m (or why not), I would suggest go to a gun shop and see what they have, I would say for many years the .22-250 .243, .308, 30-06 served a great general purpose, as a first time gun owner. Depending on brand well priced too and chances of struggling to find ammo is slim.
Good luck, the decision won't be easy, its like putting you wife infront of a dulux colour chart and say pick one

Re: Good Day I Am New
Welcome. Definitely do a good bit of research before committing to a firearm.
Just the time taken to obtain the licence makes it imperative.
Look seriously at the price & availability of ammo, spares ad-ons etc.
Don't forget, you should be doing a stack of practicing as well and no ammo is 'cheap'.
