    “But it gets worse …

The Post-Standard reported that there was a third person involved in the burglary — a driver.

And because she’s been “cooperating,” McNamara’s office has chosen to not charge her …

FYI, Stolarczyk has also been cooperating: “Stolarczyk has cooperated fully, and told authorities he shot the two in the front area of their bodies as they came at him, the DA said.”

And what has he received for this cooperation? Homelessness and a potential prison sentence.

    Nice …”

There’s also some more info here:

    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...inherited-gun/

“A female accomplice drove the pair to the house,he said. She has been fully cooperating with authorities and has not been charged at this time.

Stolarczyk was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, a felony. The weapon was a 38-caliber Rossi revolver, according to the court paper. Stolarczyk said the gun had belonged to his father, but he hadn’t registered it after his father died.

McNamara said his office typically prosecutes unregistered guns where the homeowner is present as misdemeanors, and not felonies. The first priority is to get the gun registered, he said. It’s not unusual for a family member to die and the gun gets passed onto a relative who doesn’t register it right away.

The handgun was checked, and Stolarczyk’s dad purchased it legally from a local dealer, the DA said.“

It’s remarkable how we are worried about what happens in the land of the free when we be pretty f@cked under our own tyrannical government. Does people feel better knowing there is supposedly a better place in the world, and does that in any way change our own reality?

He is now homeless, and being charged with firearm nonsense etc.
    And?

Conservative used to mean to stick to tried-and-trusted values, and indirectly being opposed to change. Not something we can accuse a modern libtard of...

State interference used to be more a facist thing.

True conservatives are ideologically close to true liberals in that both are opposed to state interference and limitations on personal freedom. The conservatives just put more emphasis in personal responsibilities.

The way the "political" spectrum has moved off late; what was a liberal a few years ago is now being labeled a far-right extrimist, and the current "liberals" are advocating state interference and limitations to personal freedom that would have made Adolf Hitler green with envy.

It's a bit more complicated. This happened in upstate New York, not New York City. In order to possess a handgun in New York state you must have a license that is almost as difficult to get as a handgun permit in South Africa. You can't simply have the gun registered. The shooter's late father owned the gun on his permit.

I live in the US and certainly do not support these laws. I used to live in New York, where I followed the laws to own firearms. Now I live in a state that is more positive toward gun ownership and is more affordable.

Some other information that the media released is that the homeowner was described as a hoarder whose home did not have electricity or running water. There was a picture of the outside of the house and it appeared to be dilapidated and falling apart. The house was condemned. The shooter also has a serious leg infection which he is being treated for in jail. I have not heard anything else about the matter, but it happened in a different state and is likely no longer on the national news media.

Some quotes from the following article: https://www.wktv.com/content/news/De...510683691.html

"Oneida County District Attorney, Scott McNamara, says homeowner Ronald Stolarczyk isn't being held against his will in the Oneida County Jail for allegedly killing the two with an illegally-possessed handgun.

"The problem is, he does not want to be released at this point, because he doesn't have a home, his home was condemned," said McNamara, adding that Stolarczyk is also being treated for a potentially fatal leg infection.

McNamara points out that Stolarczyk didn't buy the gun illegally on the street in order to commit a crime with it; he failed to get a gun license and register his father's gun once his father died.

"No prior issues with him, no prior criminal behavior, he's a law abiding citizen minding his own business and put into a situation where he's forced to defend himself. This isn't the kind of guy that we're going to send to jail. I'm not even sure he'll end up with a criminal conviction on this," said McNamara."

Stolarczyk is scheduled for a felony hearing in Deerfield Town Court Monday, but district attorney McNamara expects it will not take place."
