Re: Aardvark.
We had one visit our range a few times recently. Just when we thought it was going to become a problem, it moved along. I was lucky to spot it once when I arrived at the range very early one morning. Very interesting creature to watch.

Re: Aardvark.
I've only ever seen one once, when preparing for a hunt 2 years ago... ironically I told my friend about an hour earlier that I've never seen one.

Re: Aardvark.
Spotted one at Gecko Rock in Touwsriver.
Sorry for the bad picture
They seem to not be too bothered by people.

Re: Aardvark.
I've seen two, but maybe the same one, out hunting a few years ago as well. Late afternoon, it was just starting to go dark and we spotted it in the road close to the hunting cabin. Same thing the next afternoon.
I also spotted one in 2008, midnight, when we were out chasing springhares. Really odd creatures.

Re: Aardvark.
Cool sighting! Haven't seen one before. Closest was a pangolin in Mana Pools...

Re: Aardvark.
Have seen them at night a few times and once a dead one(hit by a car). On the dead one I could study its “claws.” Seriously digging machines.
I do get irritated by there liking to dig up two-track farm roads though....
