I would not call John Moses Browning an idiot. At least not untill I have fiddled with and designed more working guns than he has.

The reason a 1911 requires fiddling is usually because some idiot fiddled with it in the first place.

This is why I am a little cautious of a second hand 1911 there are too many you tube specialists with a Dremel that think they are gunsmiths
