Hi guys
Do we get milled AK's for sale in SA and if so where does one look to find one?

Tim at Tactical .22 might be able to help or at least refer you. They had a few higher end AK-type rifles, ut it was quite some time ago.

In good condition they are expensive. R30 000 and up. They are pretty thin on the ground in good condition. A batch of Israeli reconditioned ones came up some years back but they went fast. Possibly a few Type 56 milled examples, ex Zim in the country. Tactical 22 did have some krinkov milled quite some time back but those were new and priced accordingly.

I might be stoned for saying this but the old Dashprod SAR14's are milled Krinks made in Bulgaria (the same factory which makes those krinks mentioned at Tac22).

Milled guns are great, but very heavy. DSG stopped importing them due to price I think.
