Johan Kriek makes monolithic hunting bullets and solid bullets for range use.
    You can try those

    Hi Brenneke

Where do you stay. I have some 90 gr sierra game-king FMJ bullets which were deigned for pelt shooting. I am working today but will
    PM this evening or tomorrow.

    Regards

    No problem
    Thanks
    Will wait for your PM
    PS ;
Apparently discontinued ( according to Sierra site )
See how many US bullet makers currently list FMJ solids ...
The "Californicators" apparently feel it is better to "blow the animal up" with a soft point than kill it with a well placed solid
Perhaps FMJ has negative connotations ?
Still they did ban lead so now they will have to put up with copper -- monoliths

I have given a jackal a shot in the chest with my 223 and 55gr Vmax. It penetrates and kills very efficiently, but with no exit wound. Nosler make a 55gr in 6mm. Maybe you could try that.

    Thanks for the insight
    What was the velocity ?
At what distance was the jackal shot ?
What did the entry wound look like ?

I shoot 55gr nosler varmageddons at 3600fps. Works really well up to 300m on jackal but there are a lot of damage.

You could also consider the Frontier Range Masters.

Monolithic meant for target shooting, but may be suitable for what you are trying to achieve.
