    Pity about the little towns
Went through Steynsburg recently -- Molteno in the same condition

Molteno is the home town of Johannes Meintjies ( GrootZeekoeigat )

Not only an author with many historical titles but also an accomplished artist
IF you are in Molteno visit the High School -- they have some of his art on display there ( hopefully still )

( mentions -- "they remained great friends and John often visited the Meintjes' farm near Molteno, Grootzeekoeigat." )

This has a bit of a wider interest

( also covers Grootzeekoeigat -- sadly the author met an untimely death )
