CYTAC belt - any experience?
Does anyone have experience with the Cytac tactical belts?
It has a large plastic buckle and the webbing is stiff.
At R290 the price is really attractive.

Re: CYTAC belt - any experience?
Do you have a pic ? I think I actually have (had) one.
(Is this one of the reversible one's? Black or Green in colour?)
They look the part... but they are quite "flimsy".
The only thing they have going for them is the price and the adjustability.
If you are looking at a cheap (interim) belt, sure. But having a belt which is rigid makes a big difference.
Since i got my other (decent) belts, I never use this anymore...

https://www.cytac.com/products/tactical-belt/It is quite stiff, but not as stiff as CR Speed etc - I find these very stiff belts uncomfortable, even hurting me after a while.

I don't know this belt, but for about double you can get a decent leather gun belt by Ross from Jizni. I use mine as D.K.W. (dans, kerk en werk). A couple of years ago I got tired of buying "cheap" fleamarket belts, everey 4 months for my son in school. I then bought him a Ross gunbelt nearly too big and he still wears it today.

Re: CYTAC belt - any experience?
Yup - It's the same one.
The CR speed for EDC is too stiff / thick for me.
Even after a day at the range I can feel it "worked" me.
Part of my EDC is in fact a Ross belt (formal). For every other day, a Daniel's belt with a Cobra buckle.
I think for the price, it's not that bad and worth a shot Vs. spending big bux.
But in my opinion, I don't think it is as good as the above mentioned.
The saying "you get what you pay for" comes to mind.
Maybe it works just fine for you ? Mine did... Until I got a better one :)
