I have new cases and TSX bullets on order - this is just to test rifle and have a load for Cody to throw down range costing only a wince and not a kidney.

Very interesting. The project could make one an "expert" in problem solving.
Please keep us up to date as you deal with the various issues.

The 140 gr Tssx have arrived as per recommendation. R900 for a 100, we are being screwed over sooooooooooooooooo much.

Have you ever tried working with accuracy nodes and optimal barrel time as per Quickload or Gordons Reloading Tools? I tried it out the other day on a new rifle and it was spot on for the predicted load with imported powders. The data generated from the software was less useful for our local powders.

Re: the 7mm -08, yesterdays 6.5 Creedmore ?
Thanks for this driepootx, I've used that exact same Federal Fusion in my 6.5 this year, took blesbuck, fallow deer and warthog with it. It groups well and is so consistent I don't even bother loading hunting rounds for the 6.5, just buy another box of this, its quite affordable as well. Speeds are about what he measured, maybe 50fps more, but mine is a 24" barrel not 22.
