Also, I don't think I would tinker with triggers on my own
Yeah my Glock 19 Gen4 was only Glock Perfection after fitting a Gen3 Trigger and Connector (done at Bernhard agencies, so Im pretty sure its done correctly)

But my Gen5 Glock 34 is pretty much Perfection out the box, only fitted a precision fiber sight, but then were do we draw the line?

The main reasons I carry a Glock and shoot comp with a Glock is because I really want the thing to go bang when I pull the trigger, Thats Glock perfection, and IF something breaks, I would love to have the option of choosing a shop close to were I live in order to get a replacement part without having to wait, now in South Africa that is Glock Perfection, and lastly I would like to choose from many different types and makes of holsters, and again in South Africa thats Glock Perfection.....

There aren't good margins in anything in thsi industry really. And dealers complain all the time about how thin they have to run their margins, which they do.
Try making money in my industry, Engineering, Fabrication, Construction, in today's economy if everything goes right we get lucky if can get away with 10%.......

In terms of volume of sale, say against a steyr? (also a good gun)

It's just plain business sense to stock the gun everyone knows of, It is the generic 9mm
A very good one at that

    Volumes are obviously higher.

Individual mark up is likely greater on the Steyr. Not that I've checked cost on those lately.

Well Gaston had to come up with something, and 'Just Imagine' was already taken by his biggest competitor... Lego.

You know the only people I ever see screaming Glock perfection are the guys who are bitching about Glocks, not the fanboys.

Yes its the companies motto, in that that's what they strive for.

    all comes down to volume
We manufacture and can retain up to 40% in our industry, but doesn't mean its on the scale of a commercial printing contract etc

Glock is lakka, anyone who says it's poopies is a liar

All I've ever encountered is Glock owners telling me how great the gun is, AFTER they have changed every working part on it.
I just find that to be ironic.
