So to be contentious. Is the Glock inadequate in over the counter form?

I've put on an extended slide release and a 2kg(-) trigger bar not much difference from the dot connector...still looking for extended mag release and a extended slide lock....mine came with factory night sights and 2 extended mags so no need to change those oh and also came with maritime spring cups...

I've seen Glocks that had everything changed out except the frame... Valid question...😂😂

No, besides the sights, nothing listed here are MUST HAVE items.

The standard gen 4, 19 grooved trigger actually hurt after about 20 shots. It was replaced by a gen 4 smooth trigger and a - connector. In time it has just got better.

So the most important thing ..... the aiming system, must be replaced .... surely not.

Although the stock sights do do the job, they are the only thing that could be more rigid. When funds allow and if for EDC then do tritium night sights. Having said that, whilst I have changed my edc 19’s sights. My 17 for sport is stock. Bar a polish. And I am very happy with it.

People have accepted long ago that you purchase a rifle without / with a very rudimentary aiming system and you add one that meets your particular requirements.

Most other pistols at least offer solid robust workable sights for the same price. It really is time that Glock got called out on this. The fundamental mechanical design is brilliant and the reason we depend on it.
