Advice on a red dot scope

Hi guys need some advice on a red dot / holographic or other scope for an AR / AK.
Would be used mainly for work and some sport shooting.

I really like the EOTECH look and feel but would appreciate some advice on a decent scope that wont break the bank.

The new Holosun 500 Series Range has a Circle - Dot reticle if thats what you like about the Eotech, they also have a RDS that has a square window like the Eotech.

Guess it depends what your definition of breaking the bank might be?

Just received my Holosun HS510C today from Tactical Quartermaster.

Been reading and watching plenty of reviews on the internet and it ultimately came down to either the Holosun or Vortex Sparc AR, this is for a 10" AR.

I have a Vortex Crossfire on my AK and so far can't fault it in any way.

Ive got a Vortex Crossfire on a Ruger Mark4 Target pistol Works brilliant. Unfortunately know your question is about an AK. But sure it will work.
