100 m target viewer - scraps wi fi and smart phone
While in Aussi Land I was given a $20 (bout R200) drone that had one of 4 motor pack up. The little boy heard I wanted to know about them, " here Uncle Dave you can take it apart". Sweet gesture from a kid, packed in my bag and came home. I was also given a pass word and the words "SkyWyFi".
I soon found that the drones camera worked if I down loaded SkyWiFi.
So now I had a low quality camera that fitted in a match box and had a lens the size of a match head. This was all loose wires and floppy parts - soon fixed that.

Being a guy I thought------------------------ , but then my shooter mind found something even more interesting.

So now I can sit with phone in front of me and by moving eyes across I can see each shot, one problem !.
Reason for post, I can only get 90-97 m, can the people that know help me out ?
Why only 97 m
How can I increase that - longer antenna (it has two), perhaps a dish - what can I do to get more range ?.
I wanted to use a stainless salad bowl facing me ?

The wifi module in the drone is not designed to be very strong, since there is no need to fly that far away with something so small. It seems like people have had good success with a wfi repeater to boost the signal. In your case it will work even better since you can place the repeater halfway between you and the target. Whether it will work with your specific drone is a gamble but it is likely that it will. Repeater is about R200 and you need a battery backup for it as well.

Re: 100 m target viewer - scraps wi fi and smart phone
***************
it only has to extend the camera which came off a drone.
which one should I buy ?
must I order a specific battery with it ?
and, my phone now finds the camera, when I have this repeater, do I connect to the repeater or the drone or the phone to the repeater and the repeater to the camera Or Or ?
This is absolutely firsts for me, never done anything even near this, most I know is open app down load and give up if it does not work.

I am not sure which one will work, just saw that people have done exactly what you are trying to do. Buy whatever repeater is cheapest in case it doesn't work. The battery can be any portable powerbank like you would use to charge your phone. Perhaps even one with the little solar panel on so it is charging while in use as well, eliminating the need to always charge it before hand? The video in the second link should explain how to connect your phone to the drone with the extender.
