Re: Parts for CZ 75B
Given the current scenario we find ourselves in,i am in the same boat as you, will i move on? Yes,.Would i sell my CZ? Nope don't think i would or i should..but if this scenario goes a wall the second hand market will soon be flooded with CZ pistols, rifle's etc,,and our CZ wont be worth much,,.or i am i wrong?? Mine though has history with it,made in 1986,,made in czechoslovakia(now Czech Republic) almost like stuff that wade made in West Germany vs East Germany for those that can remember??(MAYBE EVEN MADE OF better steel than today who knows??),,cold war history,,fall of the Berlin-wall history,,coming from a time when they were really hard to come by to many folks worldwide,,even over here,,almost top secret back then(then so many made copies of it because it was so good even till this day,,the Swiss(Watch-makers also made copies of it & apparantly that model was the most accurate 75 model ever made) ..Then the Shadow's came along,,but the skeleton is still all 75 & so,,mine shoots well & straight,,& that still puts a smile on my face looking at the target,,sigh if only we know whats gonna happen further down the line in terms of CZ backing us up with spares..

Re: Parts for CZ 75B
Following with interest,,as surely this might cause havoc,,as posted earlier by me: Formalito confirmed they have stock spoke to Pierre, then my local gunshop where i normally buy tells me a different client wants a slide stop(same as me & OP),client was told & me they don't have stock..There is where i got totally lost as to what is really happening that we as the client's don't know about,,usually Formalito used to get parts from overseas every month, then 4 months back that has changed to every 3rd month since..So this is the point whereby we as members needs concrete proof of parts availability & the real world scenario from CZ Europe to Formalito(local CZ part-supplier)..hope this makes sense??

Re: Parts for CZ 75B
Just wondering if the OP got parts or maybe perhaps gave up on the quest for parts seeing that he/she haven't posted/replied again?

Re: Parts for CZ 75B
Neither, I simply mailed them, and that was their reply.
I'm in the very fortunate position that I have two friends who go to the States regularly on business and can bring me stuff back as long as it's under $100. Others don't
What is concerning, and we're certainly not getting a yes or no answer here, is simply:
1.) Is there a CZ spares problem in SA?
2.) Are you able to assist? Or are we left to Formalito?
3.) Is CZ going to be the next HK (very pretty, very functional, no parts or support)...

Re: Parts for CZ 75B
You did not simply mail them and got a reply. You've stripped that reply of context, changed some important information in it and distributed it. Not even after Bismarck asked you a clarifying question did you take the trouble to go back to the facts to make sure you passed it on correctly.
There is no point in trying to answer questions when it gets dwarfed by misinformation such as this.

Re: Parts for CZ 75B
Marius, your accusation is pretty serious. In fact I had several replies typed, but none of it good, so after a walk in my garden, I think it's best I step out of this conversation. Thank you for everything you have done for the CZ fans.

Re: Parts for CZ 75B
Guys as an owner of 3 CZ's and a strong advocate of having the proper backup, I feel your frustration. However, Marius should not be the one bearing the brunt but Formalito. I've had the pleasure of visiting Marius at his place and his service is always exemplary. As he states in his facebook Q&A, this lead to him being taken advantage off. Read it, it explains everything pretty well - and you don't need to log in. I'm fortunate in that I have spares from him for my current FA's, but CZ will not be on my recommended list as a primary.
