    I'm interested how the manufacturers rate descenders and other climbing kit? 110 kg Hanging or 110kg dropping? And if dropping, from what height?

    Hi QM, are you sure about that price? Climbing figure-8's usually start at around R500.If that's the real price it's an absolute bargain. Also: climbing equipment is usually rated in kN (kilo-newton) and should be able to handle WELL over 110kg

    Rated in Newton. Climbing standard is 22kN and above
