Free Floating Handguard

I had the UTG 13" Slim Series Keymod rail on my CQA. For the price there's not a single thing I could have complained about.

I found it to be well made and decently finished. I understand that there's an MLOK counterpart in the range.
Got it from DSG.

Thank you for sharing your experience and insights @PeaceOfficer, the pictures really do the rifle justice!

The UTG Pro super slim range seems to be getting good reviews online in America and seems good value for money at that price point. I will chat to Gareth at DSG tomorrow, otherwise I spoke to Tim from Tacitical 22 earlier today and he is expecting his UTG stock to be released from customs next week and I see Tac Shac have also previously stocked the UTG range, so hopefully between the 3 of them I manage to come right!

I've had to go back to the drawing board as the UTG Pro Super Slim M Lok 15" free float handguard is also R5k.

Are there any other well known international brands which are of a decent quality and reasonably priced (+-R3k) available in SA?

I have an ALG Defense 13" MLOK V3 available in black, for R3750.

Everything you're looking for, except its 13".

DSG and CIS both quoted around R5100, bearing in mind it is for the 15" versions, the shorter versions will be cheaper. Tac HQ says the last time they had stock the price was around R3800. Not sure if it's a newer lighter model combined with the exchange rate that led to the price increase.

Thank you for letting me know, much appreciated. If I'm going to be paying over R2k then the handguard will need to meet all my criteria,so it unfortunately won't be suitable.
