    Our best guess is that he's trying to steal guns out of our safety net so he can claim in court that the situation isn't as dire as the court proclaimed last year.

    Interesting, it does sound like a repeat of the the (very recent) amnesty discussions with the parliamentary committee.

    SAPS seems dead-set on trying the same thing over and over until resistance just gives way.

    It appears from the memo sent out recently that SAPS is trying to implement the amnesty despite it not being approved by parliament.
