Sauer & Sohn Kipplauf rifles
Hi guys,
Has anyone ever seen any of these rifles in South Africa?
I’d love one chambered to 11mm Mauser.

Re: Sauer & Sohn Kipplauf rifles
Can you give a link to the specific rifle?
"Kipplauf" refers to a break-action rifle and is fairly common in the German world.

That must need a whole tin of S365 to through the bullet down the barrel.

Re: Sauer & Sohn Kipplauf rifles
Thanks Driepootx. That is exactly it.
The Ruger No1’s got me started down the single shot path. Now, as a bunch of mates, we want to each buy a black powder rifle. I think something like this would be worth collecting. I am not interested in the modern black powder rifles at all.
I can’t find much info on them. Hopefully the collectors at our club can point me in a direction.

Talk to Gert Odendaal as well. He might know something.
