Re: Gun with a chip
I’ve been watching North Korea Dark Secrets and it is quite frightening what they have accomplished in such a short time iro Cyber crime, apart from their nuclear capability. What’s more although they are now in the top 5 Cyber capable nations it seems they are not vulnerable to Cyber attacks themselves, given their suppression of technology for their own people and non government officials - typical socialists at their best!
Having all our ‘eggs in one basket’ iro IoTs etc is getting too risky in my book, especially when it comes to my most important tool for SD. Next up is self guided bullets that will decide who to kill. Frightening world out there if you love your freedom.

Re: Gun with a chip
Lets start taking "i(x) investments" seriously when they can build a website with their own tech, instead of a one page template from Wix.
Lets take "Dimensional Weapon" seriously when they get the tech to build a website at all, or at least figure out what https page redirecting is.

Re: Gun with a chip
And SIG Sauer is on board!
Maybe the micro chip thingy will be able to make the P320 drop safe by creating a negative virtual gravity field preventing SIG's from being dropped...
And maybe the Aliens built the pyramids, and maybe Santa Claus is real...

Re: Gun with a chip
“Whoever gets this right is going to build a massive company.”
More like "whoever this this right is going to lose money just like everyone else did". There are damn good reasons why we don't want this crap on our firearms, why the military doesn't want it on theirs either. Just because the US military has been looking at networked fire control, doesn't mean they actually want to use in it in the manner which the developer intended. This Daniel Trotta fellow should just stick to writing about the LGBTQIAPK+dunnowhichholetoputitin and leave the weapons to people who know what they're talking about.

Re: Gun with a chip
There is a reason it didn’t take off before, and I don’t think it will take off again. It will face too much resistance like it did previously. I for one wouldn’t want it in my firearms, who knows what it will contain beyond what is said.
