Dealers association appeal for help.
This year has been a challenging one for gun owners in SA. There’s no reason to think that next year will be anything but worse.
But there are glimmers of hope. The South African Arms and Ammunition Dealers Association(SAAADA) had some really positive results in court. It’s a great pity it has to go that far and we keep looking for solutions that would allow us to communicate more cordially with the authorities , currently this has been our only option.
Going to court is never cheap, and these wins have come at a cost. But it’s worth it to ensure that gun owners are treated fairly and within the law. These fights continue , and next year we have not only existing cases continuing , but we need to be prepared to deal with attacks on every front.
The dealers themselves have been funding this and will be digging even deeper to ensure there’s money to keep fighting. Nonetheless we need help. If you’re a dealer or are involved in an allied field , be that optics , holsters or any of the other industries that only survive while we have a trade , it’s time to join the association! Put your money where your mouth is and help us however you can to keep the industry alive. Contact us to join and even to discuss payment plans if necessary.
If you’re a gun owner we need your help to. Please donate something to the fight. Every little bit helps so if you can donate a large amount we will of course be grateful , but if you can only put R100 in for now we will still really appreciate that. Whatever you can to do help will go towards fighting to ensure you still have the access to firearms and ammunition you’ve become accustomed to.
We a registered NPO and the accounts are audited annually so there are no concerns there.

Donation made. Is there an e-mail address for notification? I used SAADA@mweb.co.za, should it be SAAADA@mweb.co.za? It (SAADA) appears in differents places on the SAAADA website, so I assumed it is correct

Re: Dealers association appeal for help.
Please note that GOSA fully supports and endorses this.
We have our own multi-million randela legal challenge on the go, but we will be in court (side-by-side) with SAAADA at their next appearance as we were at their last. Despite our own significant legal expenses we will move heaven and earth to also support SAAADA financially.
