Personally I wish ALL clubs would advertise their events / happenings / holy days on GS.

I don't do FB / Whatzupp / Twatter or any of those. And I end up missing out on stuff.

So if it spreads news about up-coming events and it gets people on the range it is a GOOD thing.

To be fair I've seen on a few occasions IPSC guys giving it their best go to unseat IDPA guys from being the biggest whiners.
Must be all the testosterone the shooting sports guys generate.

I agree I am in the same boat GS is my only form of social media, my local club insists on doing everything on whatzupp so I only hear about shoots when they email the scores, and that's a bit late

My club (Vektor) and my Provincial Association (NGPSA) and my National Association (SAPSA) have calendars for the year's activities and the new calendars are out already for 2020.

Notices are put up on the or sent out good time for match registration.

I see no reason why more notices need to be sent out.

That does not conform to IPSC rules. I’d bet the same for IDPA, but that’s a guess.

No. Both IPSC and IDPA have specified approved targets. Neither will allow the use of anything accept their own official target.
I personally feel gumball machines should be included as targets in any type of shooting competition but I am the minority voice...

Whats all the drama about?! TIA - JDPC (cause of safety issues) hot range, don't like it, don't shoot there. Golden City - Unloaded, same applies. Rule 7.3.3 yes at L2 Golden City applies. L1 holstered unloaded for scorer. Nothing left to debate, change or whatever this is how it is and will be.

Agreed. The problem is that some people just want (need) to be governed and take umbrage when others think for themselves
