No wonder Australia have something like 25 million feral pigs. Gives them great hunting.

Ja, I remember in the local press up here in Far North Queensland in 2011 after Cyclone Yasi, the experts estimated, that due to the very wet conditions, that the pig population was expected to be over 22 million.
Of course in the dry years it declines somewhat too, especially in the interior.
The coastal plains, just like back home, have more reliable rainfall, so the pigs normally have favourable breeding conditions there most years.Last edited by nkosi; 24-12-2019 at 12:24. Reason: Spelling
