Re: Look at this German shooting center!
yeah did you see that. 15 min on the hand gun range = R50
could result in serious cash being outlayed.
Hell of a nice setup. I dug how with all that hitech gizmo's they have there they still use an old school overhead projector in the lecture room! :)

Re: Look at this German shooting center!
Geez that is taking it up to another level completely.
The hunting lane showing you a projected analysis of the bullets path through the game you have shot is excellent.
Other than that though I would still prefer an outdoor dirt range at the end of the day. It is just too clinical for me - great for their weather though and at least no local council can have any safety objections.
Oh for the good old days when we used to go the range when we pleased down in Karridene or at DVC in Cato Manor and you did your own thing in your lane - no signing in, no range officers, no restrictions. It was perfect.
Over here in AUS you have to sign in to the range, a range officer must be present and must give range open and closed commands etc. - no informal plinking, no lane of 50m x 100m to yourself. Everything is controlled. No going to the range when you want - it sucks.
Only farmers with big enough property can shoot as they wish (more or less) on their land.
