Mauser M 18 Hunting rifles
Hi
Has anyone tried the new Mauser M 18 Hunting rifles?
I am eager to hear if there are some honest opinions that are not You Tube.

Re: Mauser M 18 Hunting rifles
There is a review on the M 18 in this months Magnum magazine that seems objective.

Re: Mauser M 18 Hunting rifles
I have seen that review!
But would like to see if any one else has tried them?
All ways difficult only going on one persons review , It comes highly recommended on you tube , Generally the Germans usually over engineer all there products and come out with excellent products might just order two with the price they are going for its not bad.

Re: Mauser M 18 Hunting rifles
I've seen the M18 and the Sauer 101 next to each other. The M18 has the same basic action, as far as I could tell.

Mauser M12 and Sauer 101 and similar
Mauser M18 and Sauer 100 are similar.
The M12 is a very nice rifle but a bit spendy

Re: Mauser M 18 Hunting rifles
Thought I'd just give this a bump and ask if anyone has tried the M18 since the beginning of the year? One of the gun store chaps I spoke to said the threaded barrel is the best value in the market and would be a good option to upgrade to a decent chassis in the future. At 17k for the fluted/threaded 6.5 option, it's in the price range of a few of the T3Xs. Anyone compared these to the Howa 1500 or Savage barrels?
