Buying Ammo from "Up-Country" Dealers
Hey Guys,
I live in the Garden Route, and want to purchase some top teir SD ammo for 40S&W....The problem is, nobody in our area stocks anything other then the usual PMP / S&B..
I have seen on Dave Sheers site, that they have stock of "Winchester 40 S&W Ranger 165 JHP" (Which im really keen to test out), however, it says on their website that they can only ship ammo to another dealer (Which is a slightly problematic for us here...) - So anybody know of how I can get my hands on a couple of boxes, or if anybody can point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance!

Phone them, i'm sure they wouldn't mind sending you ammo with RAM couriers. If not, try another dealer who will. Send them a copy of your license.

Fraud maybe? Easy to send a fake license via fax or email I would guess
Also you would have to phyisically fetch the ammo from the dealer
If Ram couriered to private addresses we could all put our mates or uncles addresses and get ammo delivered to them
SUre they could ask for proof of res. but seems like a hell of a hack in terms of paperwork to just sell ammo.
Does suck! Because all the good options seem to be up that side!

Ask your dealer to order for you.
If they won't ask them to accept a shipment on your behalf.
If they won't do that, take your business elsewhere.Cattle die, kindred die, every man is mortal:
But I know one thing that never dies,
the glory of the great dead.

Or just see if there's someone traveling between an ammo-carrying store and you, and ask for a favour. Simple.

Have you tried Kloppers in George? I get my Winchester Rangers there. Granted it's 9mm, so far more common that your 40S&W

Re: Buying Ammo from "Up-Country" Dealers
Awesome, completely forgot that Kloppers in George has a firearm department. Just gave them a shout, they unfortunately don't have any rangers in 40SW and wont order...But they will definetly allow me to have the ammo shipped to them and collect from there
Thanks for the assistance!!!
