Re: Anyone imported Boyds stock recently.
I brought in about 2 years back maybe 2.5 a MDT Chasis. But their US branch said they cant ship to SA. And gave me their Canadian MDT website. I then had to order through them. But they first had to get an export permit to South Africa. Luckily this was free as Canada at that time did not charge for this permit.
However 2 months or so after I imported I discovered a local importer.
From Brownells anything above $100 requires export permit from US. Not sure if you will need same on Stock.

Re: Anyone imported Boyds stock recently.
Anything over $100 and Boyd’s won’t ship to SA. I tried a few weeks back and they said I should look at their specials page as it might be under $100....

It may be worth the time to email them, and ask if their shipping policy is going to change along with the changes to ITAR.
The export process is going to become hell of a lot cheaper and easier for them.
