Re: Limp Wristing....
I have found that posture and mentality make a lot of difference in women's approach towards firearms. Let her lean slightly forward and tell her that she must want to shoot properly and accurately. There has to be intent - shooting does not happen on its own.

Re: Limp Wristing....
Thanks bud will give you a shout tomorrow.
Not practical if she ever wanted to carry etc.
I have the g43 which I don't really shoot. She prefers it to my g26 which she could have either. I don't really want to spend more money and I reload 9mm. So she would be able to get the most range time with 9mm. If your suggesting something like a 38special.
Good suggestion with regards to the hand and wrist exercises. Will do a special load for her and see how she handles.
I think there is a slight fear which has to be overcome. Her stance as much as I correct it tends to lean back away from the firearm. I am working on it though.
You make a good point regarding intent. I will make an effort to get her to try shoot at specific targets and not just the whole target if that makes sense.
Thanks for the replies.

Re: Limp Wristing....
5.6gr S121 is way over maximum. Do you not perhaps mean S221?

Re: Limp Wristing....
Bloody hell. I thought my 4.4gr of 121 was pushing it.

Re: Limp Wristing....
Alex, there is no use in practicing with such a hot load. At least not at this stage. It probably hurts her, but I don't know whether she realises it.
Start her with regular ammo. The hot stuff can do their job once she carries.

Re: Limp Wristing....
She may be much better served with a G42 as it is much more shootable than the 43.

Re: Limp Wristing....
Please recheck your load data. You are going to hurt someone and destroy a gun.
Adding more weight to the gun helps with recoil and handling.

Re: Limp Wristing....
Load was 3.6gr not 5.6gr. Sorry for the misinformation.

Re: Limp Wristing....
My fiance struggles a bit with my 147gr competition 134 factor making ammo. But with 124 gr ammo making 130 factor there are a lot less problems.
