    Default Competency Validity

    I have been reading up on this and getting conflicting information. I have a handgun on sec13 that was issued Jan 2019

    If I were to get a second handgun on sec16 in the next year or 2, would that mean I would be infinitely competent? As I understand competency is valid as the longest running license, with 2 license staggered, their should always be an valid license at the time of renewal.

    That's pretty much it...

    SD: Valid Jan 2019 -Jan 2024; when renewed: Jan 2024-Jan 2029; when renewed: Jan 2029-Jan 2034
    S16: Let's say, Jan 2021 - Jan 2031; when renewed: Jan 2031-Jan 2041; when renewed: Jan 2041-Jan 2051
