Printing of license cards

Hi guys. I believe this is being dealt with by the government printers rather then CFR themselves at a provincial level. Given that it takes almost 4 to 5 months for licenses to be awarded. Apparently there is not a huge back log at the government printers. I have had two licenses approved in the past month and three other friends longer then that and no one has recieved any cards yet. Anyone know what is what and how long it will take to get the cards. Anyone had a license approved this year or late last year and recieved any card yet? Any estimation onna time frame here.

It is bad enough we have to wait the 4 to 5 months for the approval. Apparently we should just sit back and take it to wait another month or two on top of that for the card now

I am also waiting for a card to be printed for 3 weeks now.

I had a license approved on 20 December last year...still waiting for the card !!! Been to the DFO three times already, they just shrug it off..

Had one approved 7 January this year and received the card 7 February. Btw my application took 183 working days.

I had a app approved last week. I don't think the main problem is with the printing, but more to do with the logistics of getting the card to the police station.
