Default BRNO DBL SBS Shotgun value

I need a few price orientated knowledgeable minds to give their input and assist me to determine a realistic estimated value of a shotgun I have and am contemplating selling to put the funds into another project.

The shotgun is a 12 Ga DBL SBS, BRNO Special Poldi Elektro.
Condition of woodwork overall is good, it has a small bump/nick under the shoulder plate on the wood.
It is a neat and tidy FA.

Steelwork and bluing is clean, it has markings on the bluing where the barrel and foregrip moves on the action. This is usual with moving parts and a break barrel.
The bore is clean and shiny with no marks at all.
    70mm chamber.
Choke on left barrel is 17.6, choke on right barrel is 17.8
Barrel length, I will need to measure and confirm in due course but I think I'm correct at 26 inch.
    Ejectors.

It's a pleasure to shoot though with no shoulder pad and only a shoulder plate it reminds one the next day of how much fun a 12Ga is.
Round count is around 4 to 500 (if that) since new, I'm the second owner.
First owner didn't use it much but there again neither have I.
Based on the serial number with digits ending in 91 and numerous internet searches and info thrown out, I see the year of manufacture as 1991?
I may be wrong on the date though.

I believe estimated prices of around 6k for a fair condition FA and 8k for a good condition? This is good condition.
Am I wrong with the prices above for the shotgun only, is it a bit high?

The ammo (some decent old stock Swartklip amongst others with newer) and any other 12 Ga related gear I have is easy enough to determine a price for, I would bundle it all together anyway.

The first 5 photos are of my FA, the last pic is of one exactly similar. Displayed pics were after a days field shooting hence the dust and grime.
I unfortunately didn't have a full size pic handy to post.

Keep in mind: only a new shot gun has a specific price tag as advertised, a second hand shot gun`s price is determined by how much you want to spend to acquire the shot gun for yourself..
Yes that estimation is about correct, paying R8000 for this shotgun is still a fair price..this shot gun has some of the most safety components build in that you will find in high price excellent quality shot guns ....this shot gun is a favorite for hunters who convert it into a double rifle in calibers such a 9.3 x 74 Rim, 45-70 Government , it would be a great build for a .450 No 2 Nitro Express , a double rifle I still need to build in the near future..

    Hi Gert

Thanks for the interesting info, I honestly didn't realise the platform was used as a base for custom double rifle builds.

The last line from halfway to the end sounds like a proposition...
You now have a safe, reliable, neat and looked after base to work with for your next build... No need to search further, it is a good starting point.

At this stage I am currently building the 6.5 x 55 Swedish Mauser...then I need to complete the 8X68S Mauser build...so the double rifle project is still a long way down the line ...here is a book on shotgun conversion builds ..on other gun forums detailed threads can be found in regards to this interesting type of rifle builds..here is a book available to take a look at if someone is interested in such a build, I do have extensive information available from a good friend of mine now passed away few years back who tutor me on such a build, he , himself has build a lot of double rifles on side by side shot guns...
