Re: 303 for hunting, finally.
Yep, and with many people shooting fmj it probably wounded more animals and caused more suffering than any other cartridge in history as well.
Nah, it's barrel does not last long enough.
Once you are done with load development, just when you start bragging among your girlfriends, the barrel is shot out before you can start hunting.

Re: 303 for hunting, finally.
Government decrees - get rid of the tsetse fly so that cattle farming can thrive.
This initiated the use of DDT, which was dumped from aeroplanes to affect the eradication of the fly. All game animals (being hosts) were shot out of very large areas and as there were many surplus 303's and military ammo, this is what was used. It was not culling and consumption, but eradication. That accounts for many of the animals shot with 303.
Has anybody read up on these times. It would be interesting to read - how about a separate thread with some info?

Focus Treeman, focus.
They go to the range each weekend.
There they shoot gong, after gong, after gong, after gong.
The conversation is like:
Hey dude, you see me hit that gong?
Jip you hit that gong good and proper.
So if you think they might get bored of something think again, they do the same thing over and over and never get bored of it. In fact I have heard they even like marital sex, kid you not! Something like once a week at a specific time, doing the EXACT moves, never get bored of it. Pillow talk is something like MILLS vs MOA, low ES and SD etc, or so I hear.
