Think people are a lot more alert at home and no opportunist thugs waiting for you to leave your home.

People that are at home may have guns, the target is no longer soft.

Those same people already had guns before the lockdown. Sorry guys, i firmly believe its because the thugs don't enjoy freedom of movement atm. They are at home therefore they cannot commit crimes.

Till we start using them against looters and the government takes them away in one fell swoop.

More or less, if they cannot move freely they cannot "work" as usual.

However, the lockdown does not remove thugs from society, gender based violence shot up tremendously and I cannot help but think perhaps only 1 percent is reported. All the thugs are at home, and all the people struggling to get their booze fix(or whatever fix) is also at home, a recipe for disaster, oh wait that is exactly where we are now, a state of disaster.

I don't get the people whose biggest complaint is not being able to drink.
With all the infringements on constitutional rights this virus has caused, the economic fallout that is here and to come, the most vocal complaint is "I want a dop".

Dont get me wrong, I share your views about people not being able to go without a dop. But change "drink" to "guns".

Ah... but where does this stop? Cele is quite happy to extend the ban on alcohol until well after the lock-down and we know what he would do if he could. Any infringement on a right, is bad; doesn't matter what your leanings are.

This is 100% what I am getting at, but drinking is the only thing they are complaining about.
So what I take from this, is that if you gave them alcohol, all would be well in their eyes.
    That worries me.
