    So I might have some time available and decided to design my new safe, built in aircon and all

    Were can I get the regulation standards which I would need to meet?

    You have to buy them from SABS. Something I believe is completely immoral, because you have to spend money to just know what you have to do to be compliant with the law.

    So PM me your email address and I'll send you the SABS 953/1 & 2 sheets containing this info. I charge half what SABS charges (kidding, it's free).
