Have some exposure shooting with borrowed FA's of friends and relatives, but for various reasons never got around to getting my own.

I have finally decided, as soon as the lockdown is over, to buy a 9mm for home defense and occasional carry. I have my eye set on a CZ P07 gen2.

Looking forward to learning from all the old hands around here!

Well if I'm honest, the Glock 19 certainly did come up on my radar while looking at options, but was never very high up on the list. It is an awesome pistol though, so absolutely no offence intended to the many Glock owners out here.

Thing is, in the end what swung it for me was the P07's ergonomics in my particular hand. Simple as that.

Also, in a tiny way there was something of an X factor involved (that's impossible to explain) where the Glocks just didnt do it for me - as they say, "ones man's meat is another man's poison"

Howzit, welcome. You'll learn a great deal from members on this site. When you do purchase, try and train as often as possible, and carry as often as possible.
