Default How long do you have before having to submit papers for bought firearm ?

    Lockdown has me wondering.
I have a competency in process at CFR at the moment, but who knows how long that will take and how long the card printing will take.

Now if I buy a firearm online during lockdown, how long can I wait with the paperwork before submitting it to my DFO while I wait for the competency ?

Is there a legal or CFR or DFO made up time limit ?

As far as I know they don’t care. More likely the dealer that will be concerned and will start charging storage fees if they weren’t already.
