Yes, it has to do with the small market and licensing.

Guns are expensive to start with. So, I latch onto mine and sell it for enough to help pay for the next one.

In the US, second hand goods are cheap because they pay in dollars and second hand goods are available.

Have never seen a CZ 75 for R5k, not recently, and when I did it was the Pre B model. I'll keep looking hopefully with the lockdown crunch we will see a few good deals, but the dollar rate gonna hurt. Waiting for a Beretta PX4 Storm for R7.5-R8k, wishful thinking but you never know.

Look for a P07, there's one for R7k for sale on the forum now, and they're great firearms with plenty of support locally.

You can get a new Taurus at co-op for 5000 and even less for .40s&w but that's a brand I won't recommend

For an occasional plinker, a CZ75 pre-B is fine. I sure like shooting mine.
