Best carbon/soot remover
So I stuck my brand new G19X into a Roni and fired 50 rounds, the whole slide was covered in soot which cleaned off fine but there is a circle of black carbon on the front of the slide around the muzzle that won't come off, even tried brake cleaner.
What is the best solvent to use for baked on powder residue?

Paraffin and a phosphor-bronze brush.
Cheap and works

Re: Best carbon/soot remover
Boretech Carbin cleaner. Soak patch and leave it on the carbon residue for a few minutes, should wipe off easily. Works well for carbon build up on crown under suppressor/muzzle brake too.
