Star B & BM firing pins
I have a Star BM, safe queen, used to belong to my late mother, thus has sentimental value (I still have the blue box it came in). It broke an extractor years ago, luckily Akmal at Dave Sheer could sort it, and since then I haven't shot it, as the next thing to go will be the firing pin. they're notorious for breaking.
Special Armory got aftermarket firing pins in for Star B's, will that fit the BM? Anyone might know? Firing group should be the same, the B was just the full size while the BM the compact.
**in before some shitty comment about modern pistols, I own a P07 and P09 as well, so leave those comments at the door **

Re: Star B & BM firing pins
The STAR model B, B-super etc is prone to breaking the firing pin if you dry-fire it. Otherwise they should be fine.
Do not dry fire a STAR.

Re: Star B & BM firing pins
Also interested. Anyone know if it is the same firing pin in both weapons?
Thanks
