I just realized... Two men lifted up in the low earth orbit, successful orbital maneuvers, successful rendezvous with another object and successful docking: technological gimmicks aside, USA is now practically at the same point as in the 60s with Gemini missions...

Hell, I’m impressed by the booster returning to earth and landing on a moving ship for reuse.

The big thing about this launch is the fact that a private corporation ,in conjunction with NASA have provided transport of astronauts to the ISS and will return to earth at a very reduced cost. Also we don’t have to be the Russkie’ s Suchka anymore.

It's WAY cheaper, WAY roomier and WAY less risky than Gemini. This thing is not a use-once welded corrugated tin can.
