dude was murdered by thugs in uniform, burn the cop stations and city institutions in protest if you are so inclined but the looting/destruction of civilian buildings/business indicate to me at least, political opportunism combined with good old criminality.

I find the lack of outrage over the deaths of local people at the hands of the state in the last months by our civil society as quite perturbing.

I think it goes without saying that what the policeman done was wrong. But events have since escalated dramatically and everyone is now concentrating on the fallout, not the event itself. It has nothing to do with condoning police brutality and you suggesting as much is just ridiculous and wreaks of wanting to start a fight, for whatever reason you have in mind.
