Thread: G43X and G48

    Default G43X and G48

    Hi All

This may explain why Glock hasn't figured out how to make a 7 or 8 round G43 magazine.

I wonder when they might arrive on our shores?

    I want one.

    Regards, Ikhwane.

There will be a place for every Glock handgun designed with pro's and cons galore. But, I really hope that the G48 will be treated as that, meaning just another option from Glock and not suddenly become the "Creedmoor of handguns", (meaning that if you don't have one you should not even be allowed to have a gun conversation.)

For myself I will definitely not trade in one of my G19 s for a G48. That said, I can see a real good place for the G48 as another option instead of the G43. The 48 I think will compete more with the 43 than with the 19.

It is a good looking pistol though. Well done Glock

I didnt realize it was old news, I have been languishing on a beach.

I think both are nice additions. If it was easy to do,I would consider trading my 26 for a 43X. Or have both..

Except, you can stick a 33rnd mag into your G26

Yeah, the 26 is very versatile. In reality I wouldn't trade it for anything. I think the appeal of the 43x to me is 10 rounds is fine for a edc. I would have gone for a 43 if Glock made an 7 or 8 round factory mag.

    The 48 look nice too.

    But does anyone actually?

I never use my 33 round mags for anything.

What a G48 will do is carry AIWB a whole lot better than a G26 and to me tha'ts a whole lot more important than party tricks with happy sticks

They have been ordered months ago , we are now at the mercy of CFR with regards permits

    Nope

G43 magazine design does not meet GLOCKS standards when extended.

Also a G43 mag this length would be a 8 rounder.

    Two questions:

    So time frames...3 months?

And whats your take on the 43x?
