A CQ-A at anything over R15k really is a shit buy. At least with a US made budget AR you're getting a rifle with known specs that'll take all your upgrades.
Remember when they first came in with none standard buffer tubes and slightly odd rifling twists, chambers that needed polishing?

I'd give serious thought to a truvelo gun, when I emailed them for a semi custom build they were quick to reply and answered all of my very specific questions, even gas port size.
