Ways to carry an extra magazine
Hi guys,
I will soon be EDCing a smaller handgun, Glock 43 to be exact. However with less capacity, carrying an extra magazine would be beneficial.
There are so many ways to carry an extra magazine. I just wanted to find out how you guys are carrying your magazines "Comfortably". On your belt? In your pocket etc etc.
I would absolutely appreciate any advice.
Thanks!

Single owb carriers first prize. Elastic looped stitched into pockets second. The pocket thing actually works surprisingly well for my 16 and 18 round P07 mags.

Re: Ways to carry an extra magazine
If I have to dress formally I found a mag, in a soft Sticky/Remora mag pouch in the left pocket works well. The pouch keep the mag oriented and free of grit/fluff. Other than that all my extra mags got into a shoulder bag or my laptop bag. If dressing comfy then a double OWB kydex mag pouch with the shirt flowing over it.
Edit: On occasion a single mag carried IWB, left of the pants zip has been done, but it’s not very comfortable if you have a beer belly.

If you carry appendix, look at getting a sidecar type holster.
FWIW I find the sidecar more comfortable than carrying the firearm only. It seems to distribute the weight better.

Re: Ways to carry an extra magazine
I strip, inspect and clean all my carry guns mags every time I live fire train with it. That used to be more frequent but is probably now an average of once every six weeks. I have never noticed a difference in pocket bunny build up between the ones I carry loose and those in carriers. It surprised me to be honest as I expected to see a difference.

Re: Ways to carry an extra magazine
I use elastic carrier on the belt - horizontal hold and out of site.
