How is Match trigger holding up?
So you used the 5+6 plate ?

Alignment Index of a more practical comparison.
Lower bore axis but losing alignment index ( for example in my actual shooting experience ) the Taurus SF while the SIG 226 with a much higher bore axis but good aligment index made the SIG one of the best shooting guns.

So between the G17 and the HK USP, bore axis is won by G17 by a little , Alignment Index is won by HK.

I wish they make a striker fired USP with a pic rail and optic mount....
Yeah, it's called the HK SFP9.

Sadly the P30 and VP9 variants are just not up to the same build quality as the USP's.
Even my P30 mags, decades younger, look worse than my well used USP mags

I would not put the VP9 in the same class as the P30. I think that the VP9 is much better than the P30.

Sadly I have only shot a couple rounds through various VP9 pistols, whereas I have a couple thousand through both my P30L and P30S.
Other than the trigger and the "cocking wings" on the VP9, I have felt and see little to no difference in build quality.

What has your experience shown you?

    Sorry only saw this now.
The VP9 is easier to shoot and is more accurate with same ammo same shooting drills and conditions (personal experience).
The VP9 appears to be better fitted but that is because it is a different system.
(and yes the HK USP is a very nice gun and apparently the US has a difference in the chamber compared to P30 and VP9).

The real fun starts when you can shoot 200gn/45/1250fps ( using 45 super cases) and that folks is the HK USP set apart.

The P30 trigger is a let down after the USP, the double action is very tough to manage without a fair amount of rounds downrange.
I think the perceived accuracy difference could be seen in the trigger action alone if I may be so bold.

Both my P30s and P30L flatter the shooter when it comes to accuracy, but again, I have a lot more rounds through a P30 over a VP9
I am keen on a VP9 for the collection, if I get one, I intend on putting it through its paces and can draw a proper conclusion
