i tried to order an el-cheapo $60 ncstar 4x scope for my 15-22.
only right before the shipping... did they cancel it... quoting "ITAR"

i asked in "wtf?!" in a diplomatic manner, but they flatout ignored ANY emails.

the reverse payment only reflected 2weeks later after I had to beg standard bank to cancel/reverse it.
i'm sorry, but even if i lived IN the usa... i'd never use them again. really shitty service. brownell's on the other hand... has ALWAYS been 110% professional, friendly and helpful.
and shipping is really not bad @ $30-50 (magpul stock & grip)

Optics Plaqnet is a reseller and keeps virtually nothing in stock...they order after YOU place your order. Brownell's does have items in stock or can tell you when they will be arriving. No retailer has any control over ITAR...it is the law.

You are, of course, c orrect. I have tried dealing with them once or twice in the states...their service is slightly better there, but not by much.
