I just handed in my application for my Remington Rand 45acp. I am assuming that I should get my license hopefully soon. I have started the work on the new grips for the gun. I will keep a log as I progress. My main aim is to do as much work myself as possible. This will help me learn more about my specific firearm. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to comment. I will add the pictures as soon as I get home.

I have just completed the basic finishing now the work starts. I will need to check it carefully against my 1911. Also I need to reduce the thickness by 2mm.

Bar the finish of the gun. I need to install a new hammer and trigger. I have got a "Wilsons" style Trigger and a Nowlin Hammer.
