Nobody knows ADJ, as only a few animals have ever been retrieved and their meat spoiled before the shooters got to them.

Ive nearly lost animals at 100m in the hills because they are so hard to find once down an in the scrub.

If you have a gps and a rangefinder with you it is actually quite simple.

I like this guy. He has got good taste. Remington 700 fluted with Ase Utra SL silencer. Berger bullets.
Low harris bipod.

My Setup exactly Except calibre. Got the 308 vssf with Ase Utra SL5, low harris bipod ans 6-24 scope. And actually shot the scope in after having silencer fitted a month ago. And used Berger 155 Hybrid. 7 Shots at 100m which I can close with a R1 coin.

And those Ase Utra SL5 silencer is amazingly effective. And only 98mm in length. Think he has th SL7 for 300wm.

Even with a completely lethal shot the animal will often kick and twitch away for a few minutes/seconds. That was definitely a lethal hit. Normally you get to it as quickly as possible to end it if needed, obviously not possible when you have to hike so far to get to in this case.
