I use to be with Kaapjag. And left them. They do alot for hunting and organize shoots.
But I felt that everytime when I applied for firearm and needed letter of good standing, Endorsement or Dedicated certificate.
They charged me for merely putting my name on a pre written letter.

With Natshoot I can print letter of good standing everyday and certificates as much as I want. For free.
Also CTSASA I belong to letters and certificates are free.

You have to show a need for that rifle or caliber. You can also have a semi-auto shotgun limited to 5 rounds

The Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 with Regulations provides for dedicated members of an Accredited Hunting Association to be certified as Dedicated Hunters by that Association if they have successfully completed the relevant training and asssessment. According to the Act, Dedicated Hunters may have more than 200 rounds of ammunition for each licensed firearm, may apply for new licences/re-licences for more than four firearms in total and may apply for a licence/re-licence of a semi-automatic shotgun.

I have dedicated status though SA Hunters and was also informed of this.

So that's not the query.

Hi Guys.
Didn't Section 11 of the Firearms Control Amendment Act 28 of 2006 remove the 5 shot restriction for semi-auto shotguns which was contained in Chapter 6 Section 16(1)(c) of the 2000 Act?

"to delete the restriction on magazine capacity of a semi automatic shotgun for use by a dedicated hunter or sports person;"
